My cat, Whiskers, has a peculiar habit of locking himself in the bathroom. It’s become such a regular occurrence that it feels like part of his daily routine. Every morning, without fail, as soon as I get out of bed, Whiskers bolts past me, making a beeline for the bathroom.

At first, I couldn’t figure out why he was so obsessed with the bathroom. I thought maybe he was fascinated by the shiny faucets or the echo of his meows against the tiles. But no, Whiskers had a more devious plan. He would slip inside and somehow manage to shut the door behind him. I still haven’t figured out his technique, but I’m convinced it involves some sort of feline acrobatics combined with a sneaky push of his paw.

Once he’s in, the real fun begins. Whiskers takes his time exploring every nook and cranny, playing with the toilet paper, and batting at the shower curtain. The sounds of his adventures echo through the door — thuds, crinkles, and the occasional splash. I imagine he sees it as his personal playground, full of exciting textures and hidden treasures.
