Sunrise Sorrow: When Dawn Breaks, Darkness Speaks
Echoes of Melancholy in the Golden Glow
Beneath the painted canvas of the darkest sky,
A weary sun rises, its light a distant cry.
Across the restless ocean, its rays stretch wide,
But within me, the shadows still reside.
~~~~~~
I stand alone on the shore, waves at my feet,
The salt-kissed breeze whispers of a tale bittersweet.
The sun’s feeble attempt to break through the gloom,
Reflects my own struggle, my internal tomb.
~~~~~~
As dawn breaks, the ocean’s waves collide,
A reflection of the turmoil within, I can’t hide.
The beauty of the horizon, a distant land,
Yet my soul’s compass is held in depression’s hand.
~~~~~~
Oh, sunrise, you paint the world with a fiery glow,
While I’m trapped in the depths of the undertow.
Your radiant colors highlight the abyss,
A reminder of the darkness I’m unable to dismiss.
