Dear Medium: Is It Too Late To Say Sorry?
*Poem Edition*
It’s never too late to say sorry,
to mend the wounds, to end the worry.
A heartfelt word, a tender touch
can heal the rift that hurt so much.
Time has passed, tears have flowed,
but the door to peace remains open.
Regret and pride cause delay,
but love can find a better way.
Forgiveness blooms in hearts that care,
a second chance, a breath of air.
Speak the words, don’t be afraid;
it’s never too late to make amends.
In the silence of a heartfelt plea,
you’ll find the strength to set hearts free.
Even if the skies are gray,
an honest “sorry” lights the way.
Every moment we wait, the chasm widens,
Yet in every heartbeat, a chance remains.
The whisper of an apology, a bridge
Over the stormy seas of misunderstandings.
I think of all the words left unsaid,
The apologies caught in the throat,
The pride that builds walls,
And the love that can tear…
