I found myself escaping,

From those who loved me tirelessly.

I was coerced into the realm of conceit,

Blinded to truths aplenty.

~~~~~~
Doubts about my worth took hold,
My path made arduous, stories told.
But now, I perceive the ruse they were,
Fear, you’ve played your part, I concur.
~~~~~~

Numerous chances slipped through my grasp,

Yet, now I’m certain of my chosen path.

I trust I’ll shatter these confining walls,

For life grants chances each time it calls.

~~~~~~
Remember, both rising and stumbling occur,
The world’s judgments needn’t define what’s pure.
With bravery and dreams as my mission,
I’ll surpass limits, despite inhibition.
~~~~~~

Raising fortifications of dread,
