My dad is my guiding light,
A beacon of love that shines ever so bright.
You toil each day with a heart full of grace,
Supporting our family, creating a warm embrace.

Your unwavering spirit, it never does shun.
You rise before dawn, ready to face,
The challenges of life with unwavering grace.

I remember those times, as a child in your care,
You’d lift me up high, flying through the air.
With a smile on your face and laughter so free,
You taught me to dream, you taught me to be.

Your shoulders, so broad, carry burdens with ease,
You make everything seem like a breeze.
You work hard each day, with sweat on your brow,
For the ones you love, you’d do it all now.

You’re a rock in the storm, a shelter so true,
Whenever we stumble, you help us push through.
