Burnout is Not a Bad Thing: Here’s Why…
Burnout. Just hearing the word used to send shivers down my spine.
For the longest time, I saw it as the ultimate enemy, a lurking shadow ready to sabotage my productivity and well-being.
I feared it, avoided it, and believed it to be the worst possible outcome of my relentless pursuit of success.
But then, burnout hit me, and I learned something profound: burnout is not the end of the world.
In fact, it can be a turning point, a wake-up call, and even a path to greater fulfillment.
Here’s why burnout, as painful as it is, can also be a good thing.
I remember vividly the first time I felt the heavy, suffocating weight of burnout.
I was in the middle of juggling multiple projects at work, desperately trying to maintain some semblance of a social life, and pursuing personal passions that had started to feel more like chores.
Every day was a blur of tasks and deadlines.
I told myself that this was the grind, the hustle needed to achieve my dreams.
But then, something snapped.
I wasn’t just tired.
I was utterly exhausted — emotionally, physically, mentally.
